Knife River is looking for dependable Laborers to join our team!

Primary Job duties include:



  • Work to load and unload company delivery trucks to fulfill customer orders.
  • Under the direction of senior plant personnel, complete assigned yard tasks, such as routine clean up or maintenance of grounds.
  • Operates equipment, such as forklift or skid loader in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Conducts routine tasks that will require general labor activities such as shoveling, lifting and or moving materials with and without assistance and other routine tasks
    that may require the use of hand tools.
  • Conducts general outdoor and indoor housekeeping of the yard and buildings.
  • Complete daily maintenance assignments.
  • Must complete all required paperwork including accounting, timecards, safety or equipment reports on a daily basis.
  • Must work safely and take action to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes, and behaviors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications:



  • Applicants must have a valid driver's license, a strong work ethic, be safety minded and willing to be part of a team.
  • Applicants should be able to communicate well, follow directions and be able to work on their own.
  • Work requires kneeling, climbing, walking, twisting and sometimes lifting 20-100 pounds.
