Senior Director Digital Technology (Remote)

This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.

This position is responsible for development and support of the bank's retail digital technology systems that supports the Bank's long-term vision. Oversees the design, performance, and execution of digital technology programs. Identifies opportunities for differentiating the organization's digital portfolio. Utilizes technical capabilities, developed solutions, and associate talent to achieve organizational results. Leads the design of complex digital, multi-system environments including management of production, testing, and development phases.

• Business Strategy - Collaborates with key stakeholders on digital technology strategy, and on guidelines for effective application life-cycle management in new and existing applications. Develops business cases for the design and implementation of emerging technologies. Assists in creating a strong digital platform presence for the Bank in line with larger business objectives.
• Platform Development - Leads the design of complex digital, multi-system environments including management of production, testing, and development phases.
• Digital Management - Oversees the integration of hardware, operating systems, connectivity, enterprise software, and applications for the digital platforms. Ensures optimal functionality and efficiency. Monitors performance and directs the resolution of complex technical issues.
• Managerial Functions - Establishes and monitors expectations to achieve company and department goals. Makes appropriate changes to team policies, procedures, and efficiencies in order to meet objectives. Manages the performance, training, and evaluation of assigned staff. Maximizes department achievements by providing professional development.

Bachelor's Degree and 12 years of experience in Digital Initiatives and Information Technology management

OR

High School Diploma or GED and 16 years of experience in Digital Initiatives and Information Technology management

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience leading the design of complex digital, multi-system environments including management of production, testing, and development phases.
• Experience with customer facing applications
• Built and online banking platform
• Customer identification in API development
• Banking experience, LFI preferred
• Strong understanding of risk and control environments
• Ability to manage and coach both people and processes.

If hired in North Carolina the base pay for this position is generally between $172,588 and $230,077. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
