Primary Purpose The Editor/Content Producer is responsible for collaborating with teams and client stakeholders across the organization to deliver compelling, results-oriented video assets and consumer and B2B-facing content. Results, for us, range from an emotional pull, building our brand equity and loyalty, to an immediate action. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days onsite at our headquarters in Newton, MA. Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- Video: Create engaging videos ranging from brand manifestos to product-focused assets, with a discerning eye toward visuals and messaging. The ability to pivot your storytelling abilities quickly is a must, as we work with a wide variety of internal business lines, from child-focused early education centers to high-level enterprise B2B clients, to products, such as College Coach.
- Content: Working closely with content strategists, ensure that the vision for webinars, podcasts, and newsletter assets is realized, by supporting the process, from pre-pro to editing to final upload and analytics reporting. Seamless execution and communication skills are key, and again, a discerning eye.
Video Production and Post:
- Own projects from start to finish, including communicating with stakeholders, where appropriate
- Set up reviews in a timely manner, and execute revisions to finish. Work with account managers in a seamless communication
- Collaborate with the Design team to up-level the finished product with compelling intros/outros, title design, and interstitials
- Ensure assets are properly filed on BrightCove
Execute Remote and On-Site Video Production:
- Demonstrate a full understanding of the script and the story to be told
- Film individuals for testimonials and impactful B-roll, directing them for authentic performances
- Procure necessary gear and location needs, including real person and paid actor releases
- Set up, operate, and break down equipment for video shoots
- Ensure high-quality recordings
- Edit and enhance footage, integrating design elements from the video team or creative department to produce polished final products
- Manage post-production workflows, including reviewing and delivering final video content for approval
- Curate B-roll footage, incorporating existing materials to optimize production efficiency
- Coordinate with a multi-person film crew as needed, delegating tasks and ensuring seamless execution of video projects

- Attendance metrics reporting
- Post-edit and finish
- Produce podcasts
- Guest outreach--scheduling and coordination
- Coordination of pre-pro activities
- Post, including editing and assembling the episode, adding graphics, music, and any effects
- Approval process
- Final file delivery
- Distribute
Content Reporting & Optimization:
- Report on KPIs for all content programs to ensure they maximize client business objectives and internal ROI efforts
- Support decision-making by analyzing performance metrics including impressions, click- through rate (CTR), brand mentions, conversion rates, and retention rate

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or related major in film, design, animation, AfterEffects, etc.
- 3 years Film, design, animation, After Effects, etc.
- A compelling portfolio and reel are required for consideration
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree or related major in film, design, animation, AfterEffects, etc. - Preferred
- Onsite or remote. Remote requires appropriate equipment, and related hardware and software
- Must be able to sit for extended period of time when editing and/or creating digital content
- Some travel may be required for podcast and/or webinar creation and production
Proficiencies and Tools:
- Deep experience and thoroughly skilled with Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Experience with Sony and Canon cinema cameras
- Thorough understanding of and ability to work with studio and remote lighting and audio systems
- Skilled with other apps within Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Media Encoder and Firefly
- Remote recording with tools such as Iris, Descript or Riverside.fm
- A.I. Production tools, including Runway a plus
- Familiarity with webinar tools (ex. On24)
- Experience with automated media asset management (MAM) and digital asset management (DAM) systems.
Ancillary Skills:
- B-Roll & Archival Footage Management:
- Skilled in managing and curating B-roll libraries sourcing footage for projects.
- Experience with metadata tagging, archival footage organization, and cloud-based media storage solutions.
- Ability to blend new footage with archival content to create seamless, engaging narratives.
Workflow & Production Management
- Deep understanding of cloud-based collaboration platforms (Frame.io, CatDV, Iconik) for real-time editing and approvals.
- Ability to coordinate multi-camera shoots, remote productions, and hybrid workflows for distributed teams.
- Experience with automated media asset management (MAM) and digital asset management (DAM) systems.
- Strong knowledge of production pipelines for live, recorded, and virtual productions, ensuring seamless integration between teams.
