As a CT Technologist you will specialize and be responsible for operating CT scanners and X-ray machines to produce cross-sectional images of patient's internal organs and tissues. You will assist in diagnosing medical conditions and the treatment plan process, by producing high-quality images that help healthcare providers make informed decisions about our patient care. Employment Type: PRN Shifts Available: Variable ** To perform duties in this position you must be CT certified and certified in one other modality, or be ARRT-R (X-ray) ** Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
prepare patients and ensure patients are properly positioned on the Computer Tomography (CT) table and explain the procedure to them with empathy, address any concerns or questions they may have
Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
2. ARRT-R is required.
3. Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
4. Current BCLS (AHA).
5. At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
6. Proficient computer skills.
