THE JOB:

THE SCHEDULE:Grave Shift : 10:45pm - 7:30am (Wednesday &Thursday OFF)

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Monitor Access Points: Control entry and exit at designated locations, ensuring only authorized individuals gain access. Operate metal detectors and other screening equipment to prevent prohibited items from entering the premises.

• Respond to Security Incidents: Quickly assess and secure the area in case of security threats or disturbances. Communicate potential threats, coordinate with emergency responders, and initiate safety procedures as needed.

• Enforce Security Protocols: Conduct thorough security screenings, verify identification, and enforce compliance with company policies. Address unauthorized access and confiscate restricted items when necessary.

• Incident Reporting & First Aid: Document security-related incidents, unusual activities, or rule violations in detailed reports. Provide first aid assistance when necessary, following established safety protocols.

• Customer Service & Conflict Resolution: Maintain a professional and welcoming presence at entry points. Assist guests and employees while ensuring security measures are upheld. Address concerns or complaints with a calm and solution-oriented approach.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• At least 21 years old
• Has a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• At least 1 year experience as an Armed Security Officer
• At least 1 year of Security experience
• Skilled in handling and using firearms safely.
• Good physical condition
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong team player and independent worker
• Quick decision-making skills
• Effective communicator
• Can handle multiple tasks at one time.
• Excellent problem solver who demonstrates composure under pressure.
• Must be able to obtain Maryland SPO Certification and Maryland Wear/Carry Permit

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
