Your Role:

As a Clinical District Manager, you will:



  • Lead and Inspire: Demonstrate leadership for building and individual service lines
  • Ensure Excellence: Ensure patient care is supported by competent staff in an ambulatory setting
  • Collaborate: Work closely with the VP of Nursing and Service Line leadership to uphold patient safety standards
  • Be the Liaison: Act as the bridge between physicians, advanced practice clinicians, and clinical staff


Primary Responsibilities:



  • Daily Meetings: Meet with Nursing Supervisors to ensure adequate staffing and skill mix
  • Feedback Gathering: Collect focused feedback from physicians, APCs, staff, patients, and families
  • Collaboration: Work with the Director of Operations to ensure optimal support and efficient office operations
  • Continuous Improvement: Encourage problem-solving and quality improvement within clinical teams
  • Mentorship: Act as a coach and mentor to Nursing Supervisors, Team Leaders, and clinical staff
  • Budget Management: Monitor and manage departmental expenses and develop annual operational and capital budgets

Required Qualifications:



  • 3+ years of leadership experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a medical setting


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Managed care experience
  • RN or LPN license


The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
