As a Security Professional - Healthcare Facility in Baltimore, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

In a healthcare setting, our Patrol Unarmed Officers are responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help maintain a secure environment. By conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence, they help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and communication. Our team values agility, reliability, and innovation, always prioritizing people and teamwork, and acting with integrity in all interactions. This role does not require driving or carrying arms, focusing instead on creating a welcoming and secure atmosphere for all visitors and staff.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $23.76 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have at least 2 years of security experience.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
