Acara Solutions is seeking a systems/software I&T engineer for the SDA O&I/GMI program to join our client located in Scottsdale AZ on a 2-year contract assignment

Workplace Options:
Hybrid/Flex role with on-site presence at the Scottsdale location.
Position Overview:
Join our cross-functional team to develop and deploy cutting-edge ground operational systems for the SDA O&I/GMI program. We are seeking a systems/software engineer with expertise in satellite communications, ground operations, and DevSecOps.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deploy satellite ground operations systems.
  • Lead and support the software development life cycle.
  • Collaborate with teams to provide technical leadership.
  • Apply technical standards and methodologies to solve complex challenges.
  • Drive continuous improvement in systems and professional development.
Job Requirements
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • 4+ years of experience in satellite communications, ground operations, and ground-to-satellite communication.
  • 4+ years of DevSecOps experience, including familiarity with AWS, GitLab, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • 4+ years of experience with CI/CD pipeline development and test automation.
  • 4+ years of experience in missile warning/missile tracking systems, integration, test, and operations.
  • 4+ years of experience with Agile methodologies.
