More information is available at www.alliant.com. SUMMARY Responsible for leveraging financial analysis to support the division's overall strategy development and execution. Works closely with senior management to provide insights and recommendations on key business decisions, assessing new business opportunities, and analyzing the financial impact of strategic initiatives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Leads the development and preparation of ad hoc and standard management reports, tailoring the format and content to the specific needs of various internal customers, including highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and variances from budget, identifying trends and potential issues. * Manages and maintains the detailed financial forecasts and budgets, including revenue and expense projections, for informed strategic planning. * Analyzes potential investments, including capital expenditures, new product development, and market expansion initiatives, to assess their financial viability. * Applies a wide range of analytical and statistical techniques to independently construct sophisticated financial models. Uses results of modeling to provide decision support and recommendations to leadership. * Sets standards for planning templates and reports, develops sound global assumptions, constructs plan, identifies and analyzes variances and decision trade-offs, and makes recommendations on how to improve business results. * Integrates diverse sets of financial and operational data to generate business insight. * Completes special projects as assigned to support division's objectives. * Mentors and supervises other team members, including is responsible for the supervision and accuracy of the accounting and financial leads of each program administered within the division. * Performs all duties in accordance with all company policies and procedures, and all federal, state and local laws, wherein the Company operates. * Performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience Master's Degree in finance, accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience Ten (10) or more years related work experience Certified Public Accountant (CPA) SKILLS Strong understanding of financial computer systems and data systems Excellent verbal and written communication skills, polished presentation skills Excellent ability to interpret and analyze financial statements Strong mathematical ability, including an understanding of algebraic functions and statistical forecasting methods Mastery of data management, financial systems, and other analytical tools Strong ability to leverage various financial systems and BI tools to produce insightful reports and analyses Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills Highly proactive; actively seeks opportunities for process improvement Project management experience successfully leading cross-functional teams Ability to interact professionally with employees across all levels of the organization Works both independently and as a member of a team Advanced Microsoft Office Suite experience #LI-REMOTE We are proud to provide comprehensive, high quality employee programs to meet employees' needs now and in the future, including a very competitive financial package.
