The Manager of Cybersecurity will facilitate security related interactions with business partners, OEMs, and service partners. Integration with the cybersecurity community internal to T-Mobile and external with partners such as government, industry, and security organizations is necessary. This person will demonstrate strong critical thinking skills, excellent communication skills, and effectively manage the time and effort of all individual contributors, projects, and associated initiatives. A strong understanding of security technologies, architecture, and best practices will be critical to the success of this role. The team maintains corporate data network security infrastructure and provides information security based on the enforcement of the T-Mobile security policies. This role oversees the deployment, management, and optimization of endpoing security solutions to protect against cyber threats. The ideal candidate has a strong background in cybersecurity, endpoint protection, threat detection, and incident response, along with excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
Job Responsibilities: Technical Expertise:
- Knowledge of cybersecurity policies and regulatory controls threats, vulnerabilities, and overall risk profile of the enterprise (per team function).
- Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of EDR solutions, ensuring alignment with security and business objectives.
- Oversee monitoring, detection, and response to endpoint security threats, managing containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Ensure adherence to security policies, industry regulations, and best practices for endpoint protection.
- Continuously improve configurations, rules, and integrations, implementing automation to enhance threat response.
- Mentor analysts, senior analysts, engineers, architects and cybersecurity individual contributors to promote successful performance and career growth in alignment with department and enterprise objectives
- Demonstrated ability to provide cybersecurity consultation on designs and/or implementation of cybersecurity controls ensuring adherence to T-Mobile security standards and/or best practices.
- Plan and implement appropriate protective measures to include policy, process, and overall cybersecurity awareness.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills necessary to engage with diverse cross functional groups and present effectively to small and large groups.
- Lead security projects driven by groups both internal and external to Digital Security.
- Develop strategy, roadmap, and requirements for enterprise information protection to align with technology, product, and overall business strategy.

- Bachelor's Degree, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Equivalent work experience many be considered.
Experience:
- 5+ years cybersecurity technical experience
- Less than 2 years' Management leadership experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- In-depth knowledge of endpoint security principles, best practices and EDR methodologies in large-scale environment.
- Experience with high level design architecture, security technologies, Networking, web services and SOA. Understanding of encryption, obfuscation, tokenization technologies
- Strong presentation skills to large and small audiences.
- Subject matter expert in many facets of network & information security, including Firewall policy design, SSL Certificate management, vulnerability analysis & mitigation, and other topics as assigned.
- Strong knowledge of current technological trends and developments in the area of cybersecurity
- Solid understanding of T-Mobile's network elements and how they work together (EIT, Engineering & 3rd Party).
- Knowledge of federal & compliance regulations e.g. SOX, PCI & CPNI
- 3 years Technical Project Management

Base Pay Range: $126,800 - $228,700
Corporate Bonus Target: 15%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
