Responsible for supporting C&I efforts across Wendy's company, following our stated strategy. Will build and execute plans in furtherance of strategic objectives, project manage and operationalize Employee Resource Groups and support C&I communications on internal and social channels. Will support talent acquisition and campus recruiting to expand candidate pools and promote Wendy's brand. Experience in managing tasks and projects, while handling administration, business operations, and logistics. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in the C&I landscape, a strategic thinker, and a self-starter with experience in managing tasks and projects, while handling administration, business operations, and logistics.

Responsibilities
  • Support training, education, and awareness across the Wendy's company in the areas of C&I. Provide subject expertise with training partners for C&I training development projects. Partners with Chief Culture & Inclusion Officer to enhance tools/programs/resources to support achievement of C&I strategic objectives.
  • Primary point (day to day) of contact for ERGs. Participation in all ERG events as support and lead if necessary. Track / manage activities and deliverables for internal employee resource groups (ERG) by working with their leadership teams to develop programing that supports our C&I strategy. Participates in ERG events and programs and coordinates end of year/celebration event planning. Tracks budget usage and activities. Updates and manages quarterly ERG Programing calendar for WEN distribution and supports communications across ERGs in the organization.
  • Manages external culture Indexes, workplace recognition programs, and employee surveys to assess and enhance Wendy's employer brand, drive employee attraction, and highlight the company's commitment to an inclusive culture
  • In partnership with the C&I Sr. Specialist, fulfills C&I communication strategy through creation of yearly C&I content calendar and by drafting key C&I messages for internal and external channels. Manage C&I and ERG events calendar and invites for C&I related activities. Manage C&I email inbox for incoming inquiries and requests.

  • Partner with communications team to ensure execution and follow up on key dates and milestones, seeking information as requested along with creating updates for social postings of events and celebrations. Creates and actions yearly plans for engaging stakeholders.
  • Work with C&I Sr. Specialist to identify trends, assess progress, and recommend strategic initiatives that drive impact.
  • As required, attend external Talent/recruitment events, programs and on-site activations with prospective talent.


What we expect from you
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experienceAdditional education information (major, etc.): Preferred Major in Human Resources
  • 1-2 years of prior experience managing tasks and projects, while handling administration, business operations, and logistics, management for community and employee activities and employee resource group activities & programming calendar
  • Prior experience in Education or training both design and facilitation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience navigating a corporate landscape and/or remote field-based teams.

The base pay range for this position is listed below. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position and also may vary depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other relevant factors. This range does not include an estimated value for any benefits, bonus, or other incentives that may be applicable based on position. * The target annual bonus for this role is 7.5% of annualized base salary, based on actual company and personal performance.
