Client is a technology consulting firm in Columbus, Ohio, and our mission is to make buildings smarter! Founded in 1993, offers consulting, design, and integration for voice, data, video, and security solutions. We're seeking a Lead Cabling Technician to join our Team. We are looking for Network Cabling Technician for an opening on our team. Candidate should possess at least 4 years of experience working with the installation of structured cabling systems. Some travel and different shifts will be required. *Previous Experience Required:* * Installation and testing of category cabling systems. * Installation and testing of fiber optic cabling networks * Installation and testing of coaxial cabling systems. * Installation of pathways/runways for low voltage systems. * Maintain professionalism when interacting with everyone on a job site, including clients, other vendors, project managers, and lead field technicians. *Preferred qualifications:* * Working knowledge of various construction methods and tools with an emphasis on structural & electrical standard for commercial environments. * DAS Installation is a plus. * Working knowledge of access control and security systems is a plus. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Current BICSI certification is a plus. *Skills:* * Cat5 * Cat6 * Cable installations * Punch down * Troubleshooting * Running * Terminating cables *Additional Skills & Qualifications:* * Positive attitude * High work ethic * Reliable * Team player * Highly motivated * Initiative *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
