Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications

Stellar Solutions is seeking experienced personnel, facility, and information security specialists to support the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) Office of Space Launch (OSL). In this capacity, successful candidates will serve the customers critical needs as the focal point for launch systems planning, acquisition, integration and operations.

In this role, your duties and responsibilities will include some or many aspects of the following:

    Provide overall security operations support for all launch-related activities, to include SV transportation and processing, Space/Launch Vehicle integration, launch base operations, monitoring and operation of security and payload processing facility systems, and general security requirements and implementation
  • Secure, defend, and preserve data, networks, net-centric capabilities, and other designated systems by ensuring appropriate security controls and measures are in place, and taking internal defense actions
  • Integrate cybersecurity into all aspects of engineering and acquisition of cyberspace capabilities including access to system controls, monitoring, and administration

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to convey information in a clear and articulate manner to teammates and customers
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing requirements and tasks and managing long-term tasks as well as short-term obligations
  • General knowledge of NRO/OSL or other relevant IC/DOD policies and procedures
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Travel may be required less than 25% of the time
  • TS/SCI w CI Poly
  • Experience or training in any of the following:
    • Launch range operations and scheduling
    • Launch Program Security
    • Access Control Systems
    • Life Safety and Mass Notification Systems
    • Alarm and event notification processes
    • Personnel security and Visitor Control processes (Background investigations, badging, security escorting)
    • Information Systems Security
    • Anit-terrorism/Force Protection measures; mail screening systems and processes
    • Government property accountability
    • Emergency Management
    • Support NRO launch security policy, including inter-agency working groups and policy meetings/activities

Desired Qualifications:

  • Direct experience working in or with NRO/OSL
  • Technical degree
  • Experience in all phases of space launch life cycle

Locations: Chantilly, VA, Cape Canaveral, FL, Los Angeles, CA, Vandenberg, AFB, or Colorado Springs, CO

The typical pay range for this position is USD $65,000 - $200,000 per year. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, retirement plan and other benefits (all included as part of package).

Ensure mission readiness by implementing robust security measures for launch operations, integrating cybersecurity protocols, and safeguarding personnel, facilities, and critical systems to support successful NRO space missions.
