By ensuring efficient daily operations, and fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment, you play a crucial role in elevating the overall guest experience. THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Lead and support a diverse team of leaders, ensuring consistent execution of operational policies and procedures in alignment with the Collective Bargaining Agreement Coach and mentor leadership to drive performance, resolve guest service challenges, and implement effective, department-wide strategies Champion improvement initiatives that elevate guest service, streamline workflows, and enhance overall team productivity Foster a collaborative work culture grounded in guest service, accountability, teamwork, and recognition Oversee hiring, onboarding, and development efforts, ensuring alignment with the company's diversity and inclusion goals, as well as long-term succession planning Partner various departments to include Facilities and Front Desk to maintain high standards for rooms and guest experiences Analyze occupancy reports and trends to proactively plan staffing levels and ensure operational readiness Contribute to the evaluation and rollout of new technology, services, and operational enhancements Serve as acting Director of Housekeeping/EVS during scheduled absences, maintaining continuity of leadership and standards
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age Has a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (4+ years in hospitality, business management, leadership) Experience leading large, diverse teams and multiple levels of leadership within a fast-paced, high-volume hotel or resort environment
