About the Role:
As a project coordinatorin the Planning and Design practice area, you will collaborate with team members to conceptualize, deliver, and support our clients through today's ever-changing healthcare landscape. NYSTEC is considered a trusted program advisor, providing subject matter expertise, and connecting the dots for our clients.
You should have a diverse set of organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to effectively support project coordination and stakeholder engagement. You must be able to work collaboratively with a team, ensuring that deadlines are met while maintaining attention to detail. Additionally, you should be a skilled facilitator, capable of supporting and leading meetings/discussions with multiple stakeholder groups.
Serving as a project coordinator, your day-to-day work as a consultant's work will include applying coordination, facilitation, project management, proactive communication, and problem-solving skills to our healthcare project(s).
Key Responsibilities


  • Creating key project documentation.

  • Planning and scheduling meetings.

  • Updating presentation materials.

  • Facilitating meetings and stakeholder discussions.

  • Capturing meeting minutes.

  • Organizing action items, risks, and issues.

  • Assisting with project quality management.

  • Tracking project timelines and project progress.

  • Acting as a liaison between teams to ensure smooth communication.

  • Working closely with the project team and external stakeholders to ensure that key project milestones are achieved in a timely manner.


About you:
Required Qualifications
* Excellent writing, documentation, communication, and facilitation skills to meet project goals
* Experience as a project coordinator or project manager
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
* Demonstrated organization and planning skills
* Ability to develop relationships with stakeholders and understand their needs through excellent listening and effective written and verbal communication
Preferred/Desired Qualifications


  • Experience working with information technology projects.

  • Experience working with healthcare projects.


Education and Experience


  • A bachelor's degreewith and three years of related experience.

  • An equivalent combination of advanced education, training, and experience will be considered.
