We seek a dynamic Director of Strategic Partnerships to lead and expand Metrohm USA's strategic engagement with key governing bodies and organizations, including ASTM, EPA, and other influential institutions. This role will be instrumental in continuing Metrohm's strong legacy in standards development, while also advancing strategic account growth across key markets.

Essential Responsibilities:



  • Serve as Metrohm USA's lead representative in strategic partnerships with industry organizations, standard-setting bodies, and regulatory agencies.
  • Represent Metrohm USA on the global Metrohm Norms and Standards team.
  • Oversee the Strategic Accounts function, including direct management of the Director of Strategic Accounts and partnership with the Global Strategic Accounts leader.
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive growth in high-potential market segments across all Metrohm technologies.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by researching market trends, engaging customers, and aligning Metrohm's offerings with industry needs.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing to create and execute go-to-market strategies, campaigns, and business development initiatives.
  • Build, strengthen, and maintain long-term relationships with key opinion leaders, industry stakeholders, OEMs, and strategic partners.
  • Lead participation in industry organizations to shape new methods and standards, gather market intelligence and represent Metrohm at meetings and trade shows.
  • Oversee the development of analytical test methods, guides, and best practices in collaboration with organizations like ASTM, USP, and others.
  • Ensure consistent pipeline management and documentation through CRM and reporting tools.


Education, Experience & Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, plus six to ten years of relevant experience and/or training - or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of sales leadership experience
  • 5+ years of experience working with norms and standards organizations such as ASTM, USP, EPA, or similar.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proven public speaking ability.
  • Demonstrated sales management skills and proficiency with CRM platforms.
  • Excellent negotiation, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Computer proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and virtual meeting tools (Teams, Zoom, WebEx).


Additional requirements:

Successful completion of a pre-employment background check, employment and education verification, Motor Vehicle Report, and a 10-panel drug screening, which includes marijuana, is also necessary.
