We are looking for a Product Marketing Specialist to join our Oncology Marketing team within Myriad Genetics. This role is focused on translating Prolaris product capabilities into unique and differentiated business benefits. Prolaris is a genetic prostate cancer prognostic test. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in translating product capabilities into compelling value propositions and developing corresponding marketing materials and programs across diverse customer touchpoints. This Product Marketer is responsible for the building blocks needed to support clinical content development and marketing channels. This Product Marketer will also gather inputs & intel to develop differentiated marketing strategy & messaging and inform product roadmap. We're seeking an individual who can seamlessly integrate creative, clinical, and analytical skills to drive results, with a solid understanding of key marketing concepts and processes.

Responsibilities:



  • Develop near and long-term marketing strategy that aligns with business goals for Myriad Oncology's suite of Urology products
  • Drive product value proposition and craft messaging leveraging market research, competitive analysis, positioning, launch strategies, and sales enablement.
  • Collaborate with upstream (R&D and product managers) stakeholders.
  • Serve as expert in the clinical aspects of all Myriad Oncology prognostic tests
  • Work with cross-functional teams (enterprise, omnichannel, sales, product management, medical) to coordinate marketing campaigns and initiatives, supporting the creation of marketing materials and collateral, and to analyze performance and measure effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the creation and delivery of internal education and training materials.
  • Ensure timely submission of materials through Myriad's internal review process.
  • Exhibit thought leadership with a blend of strategic capability, analytical horsepower, and technical knowledge to translate product analysis into product vision.
  • Collaborate with upstream (R&D and product managers) stakeholders.
  • Partner to build marketing strategy that drives paired testing across the urology and oncology portfolio.
  • Create content strategy to engage with key target audiences to build brand awareness/drive messaging.
  • Lead for VOC and research to understand customer needs.
  • Collaborate with sales, clinical, product teams to distill actionable insights that inform and drive marketing strategy and tactics.
  • Partner with omnichannel and sales enablement to ensure we achieve shared revenue/KPI targets.
  • Understand product and service offerings of key competitors; communicate products and services differentiation to sales and provide input to senior leadership.
  • Define actionable customer segmentation and prioritization.
  • Synthesize market trends and competitive intel to inform product roadmap and marketing plans.
  • Partner with vendors/agencies to deliver critical needs, including creative and communications agency teams.
  • Manage imaging strategy and channel, ensuring all work adheres to brand standards and overall marketing strategy.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in marketing preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of professional in-house marketing experience required
  • Product marketing experience in biotech industry preferred, or Diagnostics, Medical Device, or Pharma.
  • 1-2 years of experience in physician-targeted healthcare sales or marketing, with a focus on launching new products or services preferred
  • Proven experience in the foundations of product marketing including market research, competitive intelligence, developing clinical content and messaging, market segmentation, and positioning.
  • Experience in project management and project management software and/or tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience in executing brand strategy, partnering with creative agencies, and peer influence.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines consistently.
  • Strong proficiency in both creative and analytical tasks, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering measurable business value and achieving results in marketing initiatives.
  • Experience in analyzing data to optimize strategies and drive business impact.
  • Familiarity with various marketing tools, techniques, and platforms.
  • Willingness to take calculated risks, adapt to change, and maintain an innovative mindset.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and levels within the organization.
  • Deadline and detail-oriented and able to track, handle and maintain multiple projects at once.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Track record of delivering business value.
  • Up to 25% travel required.


Physical Requirements

Lifting Requirements - light work or exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently. Physical Requirements - stationary positioning, moving, operating, ascending/descending, communicating, and observing. Use of equipment and tools necessary to perform essential job functions.
