Description

Major Responsibilities:
Maintain proper meat quality
Maintain pace with line speed
Make logistical decisions regarding coordination of line performance and communicate these effectively
Operate and maintain line equipment
Other duties as assigned

Required knowledge and experience:
6 months to 2 years of similar experience is required.
Must have basic computer operational skills.
This job will require a mechanical aptitude test.
This job will require chemical training.
Must be a team player.
Must have basic math skills.
Must be able to be safety, quality, and efficiency minded.

Physical Requirements

Cutting/sharp tool usage
Heavy lifting (31-50 lbs.)
Interaction with chemicals
Bending/Kneeling
Pushing/pulling
Climbing/exposure to heights
Reaching
Forklift/PIT operation
Repetitive lifting
Body twisting
Extensive fine motor movements
Prolonged standing for consecutive hours
Read/use measuring devices
Exposure to cold (< 40 degrees)
