You'll collaborate with diverse, creative people around the globe to hone the Zscaler brand, increase awareness and demand, support partnerships, and drive home big wins for the world's cloud security leader and our customers worldwide.

We are looking for a Director of Product Marketing to join our team in San Jose, California. Reporting to the VP, Product Marketing, you will work on a wide variety of impactful projects that will drive and execute against our go-to-market (GTM) strategy for Zscaler's products and solutions. In this role you will:



  • Create compelling content across all media (decks, website, digital, blogs, webinars, bylines, customer stories, video scripts, tradeshow booths, competitive assets, etc.) for and on behalf of prospects, customers, executives, sales, and partners.
  • Thoroughly understand and continuously learn about market segments, their needs, buyer personas and their journeys, and vendor landscape to build deeply persuasive and differentiated messaging and content.
  • Lead the execution of a cross-functional GTM strategy to help Zscaler's portfolio continue being the leader in the space and to grow market share further.
  • Work closely with GTM teams across Zscaler - product management, PMM, marketing and field & channel teams in order to craft messaging and content for high-impact launches and events.
  • Execute on product marketing plans, working closely with design/creative, sales, enablement, demand generation, web/digital, and field and customer marketing to create industry-leading experiences to generate pipeline and strong customer expansion programs.
  • Enable/train a growing sales and partner organization to communicate effectively Zscaler's differentiated value proposition.


What we are looking for (Minimum Qualifications)



  • 12+ years in enterprise product marketing for high tech companies, in particular cyber, network security, networking and infrastructure.
  • Creative flair, project management and planning skills, sales understanding, and ability to work collaboratively across the organization.
  • Work quickly, attention to detail, analytical with a creative mind, ability to juggle many high-visibility projects, and able to rapidly anticipate and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Self-starter who loves to generate and try out new ideas, and likes to roll up your sleeves to get stuff done and have a massive impact.
  • Deep product marketing experience in cybersecurity, networking and infrastructure.


What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)



  • SaaS and cloud security experience a massive plus.
  • The ideal candidate will have a get-it-done attitude and will have worked in a high-growth software/SaaS company where they have driven product marketing initiatives, worked closely with executives, created compelling content, and been an evangelist across the portfolio.

Zscaler's salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range
$182,000 $260,000 USD
