We are excited to add a Sr. Product Manager to our marketing team! The position will pay between $136,000 - $200k plus bonus based on previous relevant experience, educational credentials, and location.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Downstream Product Manager - Wound Care & Podiatry / Foot & Ankle is responsible for driving commercial success and accelerating revenue growth across the core wound care and podiatry portfolio. This role will lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies and programs that support sales objectives, enhance product adoption, and deepen customer engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical understanding, cross-functional leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of executing high-impact downstream marketing initiatives in the medical device or healthcare space.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Strategic Marketing & Commercial Execution

  • Lead development and execution of downstream marketing plans to support business growth across Wound Care and Podiatry/Foot & Ankle segments.
  • Translate strategic priorities into impactful campaigns, messaging, and tools that drive awareness, trial, and adoption across key customer segments.
  • Strategize with Marketing Communications to execute multi-channel marketing campaigns and messaging across multiple print and digital platforms and clinical settings
  • Build and manage annual marketing plans, including promotional campaigns targeted to healthcare providers, patients, and payers.
  • Lead product launch planning and execution in the U.S. market, in collaboration with upstream marketing, sales, and regulatory teams.
  • Establish annual marketing plans for all areas of responsibility and execute promotional tactics with a focus on healthcare providers, consumers, and payers


Sales Enablement & Campaign Development

  • Identify clinical application needs and translate them into compelling value propositions, sales tools, and training materials.
  • Develop and implement field-facing programs-including messaging, competitive positioning, objection handling, and product differentiation-that accelerate sales effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Sales Training to create and lead onboarding programs and ongoing education for new hires and tenured reps.


KOL Engagement & Market Development

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to support product positioning, clinical technique refinement, and medical education strategy.
  • Partner with Medical Affairs to identify clinical evidence gaps and develop data-driven marketing content and educational programs.

  • Represent the voice of the customer and ensure alignment of messaging and tactics across congresses, symposia, and digital channels.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams-Sales, Medical Affairs, Clinical, Customer Insights, Upstream Marketing, and Market Access-to align on strategy and execution.
  • Collaborate with Customer Insights and analytics teams to leverage market research, customer feedback, and data analytics to inform marketing decisions.
  • Work with finance and leadership to manage budgets, allocate resources effectively, and report on performance metrics tied to marketing ROI and business impact.


Market Intelligence & Competitive Positioning

  • Monitor market trends, gather competitive intelligence, and provide insights that inform business strategy and field enablement.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies, reimbursement trends, and healthcare policies that may impact the podiatry and wound care space.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:



  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, life sciences, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, downstream marketing, or a related role within the medical device, biotech, or healthcare industry.
  • Experience in wound care, podiatry, or surgical specialties strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without authority.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex clinical data into customer-centric messaging.
  • Proven success in launching and growing medical products in competitive markets.
  • Ability to travel 25-40%, including support for national tradeshows, sales meetings, and KOL engagement events.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work is typically performed in a normal office environment. Role routinely uses standard office equipment. Domestic travel is required, approximately 30%.
