Job Description

As a Security Officer - Patrol in Baltimore, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Officer in the Tech/Media/Telecom sector, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence will be a key factor in maintaining a secure environment, while also providing exceptional customer service and communication. This unarmed position requires a professional who embodies our values of agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and working collaboratively with integrity. Your role will be crucial in fostering a caring culture and delivering outstanding service in a dynamic and fast-paced location.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time
Fri 09:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Sat 10:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Sun 10:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Responsibilities:

    Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when necessary.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
  • Help to deter potential security-related incidents through visible presence and proactive engagement.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with clients and the public, fostering a sense of security and trust.
  • Document and report any unusual activities or incidents to the appropriate authorities or management.
  • Collaborate with team members to address security-related concerns and improve overall site security.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Maryland Security Professional Guard Card required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
