Exciting new APP positions within our Neurology Headache Specialty! Provider will work at our Bloomfield Township and West Bloomfield faciliteis The Specialty/Invasive Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. The Specialty/Invasive PA or Nurse Practicitionr will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, consultation, and care coordination as a first line provider to patients and their families. The APP provides inpatient and/or outpatient medical care. Works in collaboration with attending physicians, advanced practice providers, consultants, house officers, nurses, and other members of the medical care team to ensure that patient outcomes are achieved safely and efficiently. Specific procedures as per credentialing as indicated by training and experience. APP with neurology experience preferred EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor's Degree or Completion of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program -OR- Master's degree in nursing. APP with neurology experience preferred. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: Requires Michigan state licensure and continued certification by the National. Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).- OR- Current certification as a Certified Nurse Practitioner. Current State license as a Registered Nurse. Current ACLS/BLS as required.
