The Senior Software Engineer from a technical perspective will analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns. Perform systems management and integration functions, improve existing computer systems, and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and schedule limitations. Develop new features and improvements. After the design and Architecture reviews have been completed the tasks are broken up into smaller pieces of work. Writing the code to fulfill the requirements of the smaller pieces of work and developing the new features and improvements to the software. Architecture reviews: Collaborate with team on architecture of software for new changes. Design software application features (code level). Participate in backlog grooming, work estimation, and Sprint Planning. Document functionality: Create documents and materials dealing with the use, functionality, and design of the software changes being implanted. Perform code reviews - Review code changes performed by other engineers to ensure code fulfils requirements, code follows coding styles, and Unit test are implemented. Act as the technical expert with various stakeholders. Build and release pipeline development. Architect application component interactions (component level). Position allows for 100% remote work. Reports to company HQs in Glendale, CO. Essential Functions
