About the Role:

The Registered Nurse for Pediatric Satellite Services plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality healthcare to children in a supportive and compassionate environment. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for pediatric patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. The nurse will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans and provide education to families regarding health management. Minimum Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent nursing degree.
• At least 1 year of experience in pediatric nursing or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Experience in a satellite or outpatient pediatric setting.
• Bilingual skills to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of pediatric patients to determine their health status and care needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring patients for any adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and their families on health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting care provided and any changes in patient condition.
