We are seeking a dynamic and professional Business Operations Specialist to join our Outpatient Therapy Team. The Business Operations Specialist is responsible for training and improving current business operations related to the Rehab Service Coordinator (RSC) position and business office management to focus on modeling and training exceptional customer service and care delivery of operational functions to ensure goals and quality standards are met.

The Business Operations Specialist will have a regular on-site clinic rotation to support site growth, training needs, and process improvement. This person will also function as a "float" RSC for scheduled and unscheduled RSC coverage needs. This position may also assist with back-up Rehab Insurance Coordinator (RIC) duties as needed.

  • Work collaboratively with therapy team to support exceptional patient experience and outcomes.

  • Gather data to support growth and action review needs
  • Demonstrate a willingness to be flexible and to take on additional responsibilities to support the team and process improvement initiatives.
  • Creating, updating, and improving workflows and tip sheets.

License/Certifications:
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to multiple locations.
Qualifications Include:
  • Associate Degree in Business, Management or related field. Previous experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • Minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience.
  • Prior experience of insurance - obtaining benefits, submitting authorizations, etc.
  • Excellent organizational, internal and external public relations skills.
  • Knowledge of registration processes, Epic Cadence program
  • Customer service experience
