Senior Analyst, Planning, Chicago, IL, for Team TAG Services, LLC (TAG): Responsible for analytics, reporting, performance evaluations, market insights, and industry trends. Compile and interpret data from multiple sources and present business insights to guide organizational strategy and choices. The specific duties include: support customer acquisition and other marketing initiatives through data collection, and analysis that enables the leverage of information to drive profitable sales. Support varied aspects of analysis including periodic business performance reporting, proactive identification of performance gaps / opportunities, measure effectiveness of various media channels, report on website performance etc. – expected to be proficient with SQL and the use of relational database systems in order to support day-to-day decision making with data. Design and build user-friendly dashboards to enable business performance evaluation and present insights based on the same to functional leaders on a periodic basis. Proactively identify gaps in performance / opportunities for improvement based on business results and present the same to functional leaders. Support predictive analytics work such as customer segmentation / scoring, propensity modeling for CRM campaigns etc. using R / Python. Support the marketing org’s test and learn agenda through optimal test designs and measurement of pilots / tests. Using Tableau to create business reports with visualizations to help track business performance on an ongoing basis: extract and analyze structured data from Google Big Query environment, integrate Google BQ data with data from other platforms such as Google Analytics, CRM and Scheduling systems, and ingest and visualize data into Tableau for Executive Reporting. Build predictive models to support customer segmentation / customer scoring related initiatives. Required: Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or Data Analytics or closely related and 3 years’ experience with inquisitive and predictive data analysis using SQL, Tableau, R / Python. Experience may have been gained prior to, concurrent with or after completion of the degree requirements. Experience must include: 2 years with SQL and data visualizations using Tableau, 1 year with Google Cloud Platform Tools such as Big Query, and 1 year with R / Python. Demonstrated proficiency with the use of relational databases and query design to research, review and coordinate marketing data to address complex business questions is also required. |
