We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support Seedway's Home Garden procurement, production, and sales program by effectively managing inventory, assisting with production scheduling, and ensuring accurate order lot control and billing processes.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Inventory and Lot Control: Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper lot control to guarantee orders are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, ensuring corrective actions and transactions are executed.
  • Shipping Coordination: Initiate the generation of shipping documents and communicate these to third-party distribution partners. Confirm shipment receipts from distribution partners and ensure invoicing is completed accurately.
  • Production Assistance: Assist with production forecasting, communicate production requirements to third-party companies, and facilitate the initiation and completion of work orders.
  • Cost Monitoring: Track and monitor inventory costs, ensuring proper maintenance of cost accuracy.
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Act as a liaison between customer service, sales teams, and Home Garden managers to address product availability, seed shortages, product performance concerns, and other relevant matters.
  • Procurement and Order Management: Assist with seed and product procurement, process transfers, purchase orders, and drop shipments as directed by Home Garden managers.
  • Transportation Coordination: Schedule and coordinate inbound and outbound transportation for product deliveries.
  • Purchase Order Accuracy: Verify open purchase orders against confirmations and invoices for accuracy, resolving any discrepancies with vendors related to products or accounts payable.
  • Issue Identification and Reporting: Proactively identify and report potential concerns or issues that could impact operations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Typically, 1-2 years or more of relevant work experience, demonstrating proficiency in professional communication, data entry, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with JD Edwards or similar enterprise systems is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record are required.
  • Strong business knowledge, collaboration skills, effective communication, customer-focused mindset, decision-making abilities, and a commitment to skill development.
