Sigma Defense is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to join our Contract Team in our Huntsville, Alabama office. The ideal candidate is able to take ownership of, and responsibility for, their contracts. Must be willing to support a program team as well as the ability to work independently. The ability to move swiftly and correctly, when required, is paramount. A majority of the workload will pertain to various Joint Ventures (JV's) that EWA Warrior Services is a member of; therefore, the ideal candidate will have knowledge of the complexities of JV's. Travel may be required with this position depending on contract support.

Requirements
  • 5-7 years of previous experience in Contract Administration for the Federal Government.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe.
  • Capable of representing the organization as a primary contact on contract matters with program teams, vendors, and customers.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make recommendations and provide guidance to effectively bring projects to completion.
  • Must have a sound working knowledge of the FAR and DFARS as well as experience with different contract types (e.g., CPFF, T&M, FFP, etc.).
  • Previous proposal support experience in delivering prime contract offerings to the Government, and subcontract proposals to prime contractors.
  • 5-7 years of previous federal contract administration experience; ideally in support of a defense contractor.
  • Working knowledge of Organizational Conflict of Interests (OCIs), and familiarity with performing internal OCI sweeps and development of OCI Mitigation Plans.
  • Experience with JAMIS Prime ERP.

Personnel Clearance Level:

  • Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance.
  • Clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Administration, Law, or related field of study.
  • Work experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable.

Essential Job Responsibilities (not all-inclusive):

  • Perform all aspects of contract administration including, but not limited to, contract review, negotiation, execution of contract documents, interface with customer contracting officers, support contract deliverable requirements, and administer closeout procedures.
  • Support proposal activities including, but not limited to, analysis of solicitations, development of contractual/business volumes, participation in proposal/color team meetings, preparation of proposal conditions and assumptions, review of proposal volumes for accuracy and compliance, and identify business risk and recommend ways to mitigate such risks.
  • Establish, negotiate, and administer a variety of contracts and agreements such as Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Subcontract Agreements issued by a Prime Contractor, Reseller Agreements, and Licensing Agreements.
  • Provide contractual advice and guidance to internal program teams and leadership.
  • Ensure company contract documentation is accurate, well maintained, and compliant with established procedures.
  • Coordinate with company subcontract and procurement staff to ensure compliance with contract deliverables from lower-tier subcontractors/vendors.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $115,000 annually.
