We are seeking a Supervisor Compressor Station & Tech Services to join our team in Houston Texas.

In this role you will lead the Offshore and Joint Ventures Region Staff of Technical Advisors responsible for managing and implementing the Region strategic operating philosophy. Manage the Region's facilities related capital budgets and provide direct technical and administrative support to the Manager Technical Operations.

What You Will Do
  • Manages the Region Technical Advisor Staff (compression, measurement and construction support); Supervise overall group performance and support Employee career development.

  • Supervises group to support the Area and Station personnel to resolve problems with units in a timely manner.

  • Provide technical support to field operations on various facilities issue resolution.

  • Provides direct technical and administrative support to the Manager of Technical Operations.

  • Coordinates preparation of Capital and O&M project budgets for station assets - includes project recommendations/ proposals, evaluations, justifying (technical and financial).

  • Provides technical support for facilities event analysis (investigations).

  • Communication conduit between Technical Advisor staff and other departments for issue resolution.

  • Tracks reliability events and makes technical recommendations.

  • Provide support ensuring the coordination of emergency related activities such as planning, outages, material stocking, repairs, investigations and financial recovery related to compression and measurement facilities.

  • Accountable for managing the facilities related capital budgets for the Offshore and Joint Ventures Region.

  • Possess decision-making authority which can have an impact on the safety and health of personnel and assets.

  • Responsible for the successful day-to-day delivery of technical support services to the region field operation team.

  • Responsible to support field operations to respond to emergency situations.

Who You Are
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably mechanical, civil, or electrical.

  • 10+ years of engineering and/or project management experience related to the pipeline industry.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and other common business software.

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.

  • Proven ability to lead multi-functional teams to achieve desired outcomes and initiatives among shifting priorities.

  • A collaborative team and service-oriented work style with excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Committed to continuous learning and personal development.

Working Conditions:
  • Position is primarily office based, with up to 30% travel for projects and operations field visits

  • Must be able to travel by vehicle, airplane, helicopter, or a marine vessel (if required)

  • Ability to work in various types of weather conditions.

  • Ability to work outside of traditional business hours as needed.

Physical Requirements:

Include but are not limited to: Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 25 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement. Mobility to walk in outdoor conditions that occasionally involve uneven and slippery terrain. Agility with the ability to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and other devices using feet and legs, and/or hands and arms.

Include but are not limited to ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
