Job Summary
NetApp provides industry-leading data management solutions through AWS FSxN for ONTAP. We're growing our public cloud services team, seeking a technical solutions architect to drive adoption across the FSI sector, primarily in the Eastern US region. This role will focus on influencing customers to leverage AWS FSxN for ONTAP to modernize their enterprise data-management services and operations, including other AWS cloud-native services. Location: Candidates must reside on the Eastern Region (EST)
Primary Responsibilities
- Architect, design and demonstrate solutions that leverage NetApp's cloud portfolio to solve complex financial services challenges
- Proactively engage with AWS field teams to identify and pursue strategic FSI opportunities
- Design and lead proof-of-concepts tailored to FSI customer requirements, focusing on data security, compliance, performance, and scalability
- Present compelling technical and business value propositions to customer technical teams and executives
- Develop reference architectures and thought leadership content specific to FSI use cases
- Enable the AWS architect community on the value NetApp solutions bring to FSI customers
- Identify and pursue incremental revenue opportunities within your customer portfolio
- Maintain technical expertise in cloud services, particularly around FSI, digital twin, and analytics workloads
Reqjuirements & Education
- 5+ years of experience in pre-sales technical solutions, FSI is a huge plus
- Strong understanding of cloud architectures, AWS+, Azure, GCP services
- Experience conducting customer-facing technical workshops and proof-of-concepts
- Familiarity with container technologies and orchestration platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- AWS certification preferred but not required
- Ability to travel up to 30% within the Eastern US region

Compensation: The target salary range for this position is 175,950 - 227,700 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. The range is based on 'On Target Earnings' (OTE) representing the total potential earnings, which is the sum of the base salary and potential commission earned when performance targets are achieved. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU's).
