Job Description/Essential Functions: |
Bevilacqua Research Corporation (BRC) is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned, Small Business based in Huntsville, Alabama incorporated in 1992. BRC provides "best-value" technical and management solutions to a diverse government and commercial customer base in the following key business areas: test & evaluation, systems analysis & integration, security & intelligence, and R&D. Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Diving and Hyperbaric Research Scientist/Engineer in the Biomedical Research Department
- Conduct alternobaric research in support of the Biomedical research department.
- Conduct and collaborate with other NEDU staff in the planning, execution of research, development, testing and evaluation related to systems physiology, diving procedures and diving equipment.
- Contribute to generation and publication of reports.

Minimum Requirements: |
- U.S. Citizen with eligibility for a secret clearance.
- PhD Engineer, scientist, physician or equivalent with background knowledge in biomedical science, or respiratory or systems physiology.
- Experience reviewing and synthesizing scientific information to include journal articles, technical reports, research proposals, experimental protocols, raw or compiled data.

Desired Experience: |
- Experience and knowledge in diving and/ or hyperbarics.
- Experience conducting human subject research.
