The Center for Student Involvement provides a vibrant Bearcat community through advocacy, engagement, and education.

Job Overview

Reporting to the Director of Center for Student Involvement (CSI), the Associate Director provides oversight to our 650+ registered student organization (RSO) community, manages student organization risk and compliance, and reviews and implements relevant policies and procedures. Additionally, the Associate Director oversees the Student Involvement Awards and supports departmental assessment and professional development. Oversee the administration and direction of a multifunctional department, center.

Essential Functions

Registered Student Organization Support

* Assist in the development of 650+ RSOS

* Support the University recognition and re-registration process for all student organizations

* Maintain RSO tier system & compliance in collaboration with Assistant Director

* Manage Student Organization Resource Rental Program

* Compose the Student Organizations Year in Review Report

* Serves as office liaison for all major student organization events

Coordinate the Annual Student Involvement Awards

* Design and supervise the creation of promotional materials, press releases, and other publications

* Maintain and update all policies and procedures in compliance with Federal, State, and University regulations

* Support semesterly involvement fairs

* Support the development and implementation of new student organization training workshops

* Assist in the development tools for assessing student organization needs

* Develop career readiness initiatives for RSO community.

* Serve as office point person for Clery and Title IX initiatives

* Support RSO conduct matters

* Develop and implement a student organization
strategic
plan at the University of Cincinnati

Center for Student Involvement

* Primary oversight for GetInvolvedUC (Online Engagement Portal)

* Manage departmental and programmatic assessment for student organizations

* Serve as a student involvement specialist;
coordinate recruitment fairs, pipeline programming, and other marketing events to further CSI's outreach efforts

* Support staff personal and professional development

* Manage operational expenses within an established budget

* Assist in efforts to achieve annual CSI office-wide goals

* Serve as department's proxy in Director's absence Supervision


* Supervise full-time professional(s)

Required Education

Bachelor's Degree

Nine (9)years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement

Required Experience

Five (5) years related experience
