As a Supply Supervisor you will provide direct support, leadership and supervision to the Stores & Kitting personnel. Working directly with Material Coordinators to ensure material OTD is achieved. Scheduling required manpower to meet production demands daily. Ensuring processes are compliant and in adherence with quality standards. Participate and monitor individual training plans for Material Controllers. Address any concerns raised by other departments/customers relating to the area.. Attending or leading approved meetings as determined by management. Perform all other duties as required to ensure departmental efficiencies

POSITION OVERVIEW/JOB DUTIES:



  • Acts as a backup leader to the Supply Chain Operations Manager.
  • Trains Kitting and Supply Team personnel on processes.
  • Assists with and conducts daily stand-up meetings and attends daily business unit production meetings in absence of Manager.
  • Assists Manager with production flow and work schedules while providing support and guidance to the team with the ability to troubleshoot issues/problems.
  • Uses production systems to retrieve work instructions and report product location and production status.
  • Generates measures of performance (MOP's) and assists with analysis and development of actions.
  • Works with the Manager to determine cell training requirements, monitors progress to the plan, and addresses any gaps.
  • Assists with maintaining the cell production board and metrics.
  • Assists Manager with timesheet maintenance.
  • Identifies and initiates improvements to production process flows within cell.
  • Responsible for observing all applicable safety requirements and reporting immediately any unsafe practices/conditions.
  • Carries out special projects as assigned.
  • Maintains Kitting tracking board to ensure it accurately reflects current forecasts as per the Commercial WIP Dashboard.
  • Maintains Type 2 piece parts schedule with Customer Account Lead to make sure they are being kitted for build.
  • Maintains OEM Defect Inventory and communicates with Procurement Specialists for Return to vendor process.
  • Responsible for maintaining MRB Area and OEM Defect Inventory communicating with Engineering and Procurement Specialist Teams.
  • Carries out Special projects as assigned.



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Experience in a related industry
  • Experience in a leadership position
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in warehouse and material handling environment
  • Working knowledge of (applicable material) original equipment manufacture's publications and work instructions including overhaul and maintenance manuals, parts catalogues, and service bulletins
  • Proficient in the use of computers, familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and integrated systems considered an asset
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Effectively communicate in a professional manner
