The Senior Director, Respiratory Care & ECMO: Develops, evaluates, and directs standards of practice for respiratory therapy and mechanical circulatory support, with an emphasis on currency, safety, and technologic advancement. Directs all clinical, administrative, educational, and related operations provided by the department. Develops and oversees quality assurance/performance improvement programs in accordance with regulatory requirements, National standards, and the goals, values, and mission of the Hospital. Develops and oversees operational and capital budgets for Respiratory Care and Mechanical Circulatory Support Program. Directs individuals and work groups to continuously improve performance by creating an environment that fosters clinical excellence, professional development, and innovation. Maintains technical, clinical, and professional competencies.
