Kennedy Valve offers great wages, stability, and benefits packages: * Starting Wages- $31.13 HR. * Hourly Pay Differential 2nd shifts $.70 third shift $.80. * Longevity Pay $.10 cents each hour for every 2 years worked with a cap at $1.20. * Paid Sick Leave- 80 hours (about 3 and a half days) of Paid Sick Leave (PSL) prorated based on start date. An additional 50% company match on 4% employee contribution. * Stability-Over 100 years in the community * Overtime after 8 hours in a day Job DescriptionUnder the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Mechanic will perform preventative maintenance on all production equipment. This position requires repair and maintenance to maintain the building/facility, and production machinery/equipment in the facility. JOB DUTIES * Provide hands-on support through troubleshooting equipment faults to diagnose problems and complete repairs * Complete all required reporting and documentation * Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental/Health and Safety * Perform preventative maintenance on all Production Equipment * Inspecting mechanical and electrical components QualificationsEXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS * GED or Diploma * Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics * Welding, cutting, and fabrication * Minimum 3 years' experience in Maintenance Manufacturing environment or five years of heavy automotive mechanic experience (oil/gas field, truck/bus/water, etc.) or a combination of related heavy automotive technical training and experience PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS * Standing for long periods of time, walking throughout the facility, ability to lift 50lbs as required Additional InformationWork Environment * Exposed to elements, such as cold, heat, noise, dust, odors, fumes, etc. * Standing for a long period of time * 1st and 2nd shifts.
