Overview

The Business Development Manager will drive market expansion in the power sector. This role is ideal for a high-energy, results-driven professional who thrives on building strategic relationships, developing new opportunities, and driving revenue growth.



Responsibilities

    Expand E2's presence in power transmission, distribution, and substations for major electric utilities across the continental US.
  • Develop key partnerships with Electric Utilities, EPCs Contractors, Developers, and other engineering firms.
  • Drive sales growth through strategic account planning, market penetration, and partner enablement, and achieving quotas.
  • Position E2 as a thought leader by engaging in industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and engineering teams to develop tailored solutions to clients.
  • Become the thought leader by being knowledgeable and providing proactive feedback on new markets and products, competitive information, and technology trends.
  • Develop and conduct capability presentations and market seminars/road shows to promote E2 in the Power industry.
  • Be knowledgeable and provide proactive feedback on new markets and engineering services, competitive information, and technology trends.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar major is a plus.
  • 10+ years of business development within the power, utilities, or renewable energy sectors.
  • Strong understanding of substation automation, SCADA systems, and grid modernization.
  • Proven ability to build strategic partnerships and drive revenue growth.
  • Execution-focused, persistent, and results-driven with a growth mindset.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Wage Data Per State Requirements

Salary range for this position is $190,000 - $240,000 plus the opportunity for a yearly bonus based on performance. The starting salary will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment.
