Sr. Systems Engineer

TDI Technologies, Inc. (TDI) is seeking candidates for a Senior Systems Engineer position supporting NIWC EHSS. This position will work with program managers, software engineers, data scientists, and other engineers to develop and implement enterprise solutions.

Principal Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement sustainment and planning strategies for enterprise systems, ensuring long-term functionality and efficiency.

2. Conduct spares analysis using historical data to optimize system performance and readiness.

3. Design and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize system downtime and improve reliability.

4. Serve as a Site Coordinator, managing system integration, maintenance efforts, and technical support.

5. Provide hands-on support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution, demonstrating a \"roll up your sleeves\" approach.

6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including platform managers, SMEs, contractors, and other engineers, to ensure seamless system operations.

7. Lead technical assessments, risk identification, and mitigation planning to ensure project success.

8. Support the development and execution of implementation roadmaps, ensuring alignment with project objectives and deadlines.

Requirements

Education and Experience Requirements:

1. Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
2. 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, sustainment planning, or a related field.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Successful applicants must either have an active government security clearance or the ability to receive approval upon position acceptance.
2. Must have a valid US passport or the ability to obtain one upon position acceptance.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Essential Skills:

1. Experience developing and implementing sustainment and preventive maintenance plans.
2. Strong analytical skills for conducting spares analysis based on historical data.
3. Hands-on troubleshooting experience with enterprise systems, demonstrating a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
4. Ability to coordinate across teams and manage technical site operations.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
7. Proactive communication, planning, and strong teamwork ethic.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience with C# for system development and automation.
2. Familiarity with cloud-based enterprise solutions.
3. Experience with IT operations in an air-gapped environment.
4. Knowledge of maintenance procedures relevant to enterprise systems.
