The Academic Advising Department at the Prescott Campus is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Academic Advisor to support student success and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising: Guide students through course selection, academic planning, and university policies using student development theories and the Appreciative Advising model.

  • Collaboration: Work with faculty to monitor student progress, offer academic support, and provide outreach for improvement.

  • Event Support: Assist in planning and executing events like New Student Orientation and Open House, engaging with students and families.

  • Administration: Collaborate with university departments, maintain records, and support academic mentors.

The annual salary range for this position is in the mid to upper $40's with a starting salary expectation around $47,000. The final offer will consider the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience, along with applicable state regulations, internal equity, and business needs.

Qualifications

Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree: Area of study - STEM Subject, psychology, sociology, counseling, communication, education or other related fields.

Preferred Education:

Master's Degree: Area of Study - Higher Education, counseling, psychology. STEM subject, or other related fields.
