POSITION SUMMARY:
To provide a variety of professional technical support and/or computer systems services. Including hardware and software, installation, validation, configuration and troubleshooting. Turnaround timelines will be monitored. EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent preferred or combination of equivalent experience and completion of formal coursework in computer science. EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years of previous experience with local area networks and mini and microcomputers preferred. SPECIAL SKILLS: Completion of on-the-job training required. Demonstrates effective interaction and communication (oral, writing, presenting) skills. Ability to perform work accurately and pay attention to details, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure. Ability to function competently in stressful situations and a changing work environment. Ability to utilize effective time management to set priorities and perform job related responsibilities. Ability to use critical thinking to effectively problem-solve. Reliable transportation to get to and from offsite locations when required to do so. Driver,s License - current and valid New Jersey driver,s license.
