In this role, you will be reporting to the Sr. Operations Specialist at Avantor Performance Materials in Paris, KY. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma required; Associate degree in a life science or engineering discipline preferred. Experience: Minimum of 3 years prior experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment, along with general understanding of semi-automated and/or automated equipment is preferred. Work Schedule: 6am-6pm Fri-Sun In this role, you will:
- Knowledge of computer applications is required.
- Ability to evaluate internal customer needs and respond with appropriate action/delivery.
- Under moderate supervision, complete quality review of batch documentation and ensure that corrections are made following all compony policies and standards. While ensuring that production
- Orders meet GMP and GDP guidelines the Material Coordinator will also be responsible for completing transactions to consume materials and components after production has been completed as well as data analysis in regard to these transactions.
- Perform Quality reviews of Production Orders per company policies as well as GMP and GDP guidelines.
- Complete order consumption in P20 per company policy within 24 hours of completion in production.
- Track all Production Order statuses and complete daily reports to ensure they are followed through the system to assist in meeting daily attainment.
- Complete investigations on Production Orders that are not printed or consumed correctly to meet goal of less than 7 days old in production.
- Mentor Packaging Operators on Good Documentation Practices when there are trends in errors occurring on Batch Records.
- Assist in the training of other Material Coordinators to ensure that there is a cross functional team, and everyone is successful.
- Maintain communication with Quality Assurance and Customer Service to assist in timely release of orders.
- Complete cost analysis of all Production Orders.
- Track and document variance trends to assist in improvements of consumption processes regarding financial aspects.
- Track and document trends regarding standard vs. actual production rates for individual SKU's. Assist with updates to these rates as necessary. * Assist in procedural updates regarding material consumption procedures. * Interacts with associates and internal customers. Must be affable and warm maintaining and guarding for an atmosphere of cooperation, teamwork, and respect even in moments of stress.
