Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Electrical Supervisor to lead our dynamic team of electrical maintainers. This team is responsible for the safe maintenance and operation of our physical assets, including a water treatment plant, reverse osmosis plant, two deep shafts, multiple mine levels, and several electrical substations. You will be part of a supportive team, with opportunities for personal and professional growth. Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of maintenance tradespersons in executing maintenance activities, ensuring asset management processes are consistently applied, and work is performed safely and to high standards.
- Serve as an inspiring role model and coach, promoting positive behaviors, practices, and processes while providing leadership, development, and support to your team.
- Ensure all statutory testing and maintenance are carried out and properly recorded.
- Build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders to align on operational plans and strategies.
- Drive effective cost management initiatives by identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities.
- Participate in the preparation of accurate weekly reports and assign tasks to team members.
- Manage day-to-day operations through SAP.
- Champion continuous improvement by identifying and implementing changes to optimize work practices and provide technical solutions to enhance plant performance.
Required Skills/Experience
- Five years of electrical experience.
- Electrical Journeyman's card or state equivalent certification.
- Effective communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
- Competent understanding of electrical schematics, isolation, and permitting systems.
- Proactive approach with a strong commitment to fostering a safe working culture.
- Demonstrated ability to meet targets and guide the team through continuous development.
Preferred Skills/Experience
Where You'll Be Working Once operational, Resolution Copper has the potential to supply nearly 25% of US copper demand and create several thousand direct and indirect jobs in the Pioneer Mining District of Arizona. The project, valued at several billion dollars over its lifespan, will utilize a block caving technique to extract the deposit located more than 2,000 meters below the surface.
