Georgia-Pacific's Consumer Products Division seeks a Reliability Maintenance Planner professional for the Wauna Mill in Clatskanie, OR. This role involves meticulous job planning and coordination to support operations. We are seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented individual with strong knowledge of industrial equipment, processes, and procedures. The ideal candidate will focus on long-term improvement, prioritizing systemic processes that are equipment-based and create sustainable value.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive preventive maintenance schedules focused on enhancing equipment reliability and extending asset life.
  • Plan, prioritize, and execute maintenance activities with a strong emphasis on predictive maintenance to address potential issues before they impact operations.
  • Prepare detailed work orders, including necessary materials, tools, and resources, while ensuring inventory management aligns with long-term reliability goals.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure the reliable execution of maintenance tasks, fostering strong collaborative relationships.
  • Collaborate with operations to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production flow, maintaining compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain and update maintenance records and documentation, utilizing data insights to drive predictive maintenance strategies and continuous improvement.
  • Provide detailed planning for maintenance shutdowns and daily work, demonstrating urgency and discipline while focusing on predictive and preventive maintenance execution.
  • Champion timely identification and development of maintenance outage work, employing critical thinking to ensure activities contribute to long-term asset reliability and value.
  • Encourage mechanics and operators to take personal ownership of reliability goals, fostering personal growth and capability development.
  • Collaborate with Area Leaders to prioritize reliability-focused maintenance work, assisting in labor optimization and sharing predictive maintenance best practices.
  • Manage vibration and lubrication alert workflows, engaging the mill team to plan and execute predictive maintenance actions.
  • Work daily in the Wauna Mills CMMS (SAP) to maintain accurate records and schedules that support reliability-focused maintenance strategies.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Reliability or maintenance planning experience in a manufacturing, industrial or military environment.
  • Experience working with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering
  • Experience with remote vibration sensors (accelerometers) or other vibration technology or systems
  • Experience with various utility systems, including but not limited to steam generation, electrical power systems, water treatment facilities, and compressed air systems, etc.
  • Pulp & Paper experience.
