As a Security Professional - Badge Experience in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As an Access Control Officer in the food and beverage industry, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your role involves conducting routine patrols and remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will also provide exceptional customer service and communication, embodying our values of agility, reliability, and innovation. This position may require an armed guard card/license, enhancing your ability to perform your duties. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by implementing access control procedures and site-specific policies.
• Assist in responding to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying environments and conditions.
• Engage in emergency response activities when appropriate, following established protocols.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and security-related incidents through careful monitoring and reporting.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a secure and orderly environment.
• Document and report any irregularities or incidents to the appropriate authorities.
• Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with clients and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Florida Security Professional Guard Card required.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Possess a valid Guard Card or License, preferred.
• Possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
