Armed Security Officer - Healthcare

As a Security Officer - Armed Healthcare in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer in the healthcare location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence will be crucial in maintaining a secure environment, and you will be expected to provide exceptional customer service and communication. This role requires an armed designation, and candidates with a Florida Armed Security Professional License are preferred. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have an armed designation, indicating they are qualified to carry a firearm in the line of duty.
• Candidates must have at least 1 year of security experience.
• A Florida Armed Security Professional License is required.
• A Guard Card or License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
