As a Security Guard - Armed Access in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

Join our team as an Armed Security Officer, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment within financial institutions. Your responsibilities include monitoring and patrolling designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. This position requires carrying a sidearm, and you will be expected to interact with clients and visitors professionally. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and engage in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Texas Security Armed License Required
• Texas Professional Guard Card required.
• Must have experience in armed security roles.
• Must have TX-SP Registration for Austin.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
