Compensation Range:$69,900 - $87,500

Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location.

Job Purpose

As a sales professional strives to identify the best sales opportunity for themselves and their future, most professional sellers look for specific differentiators such as growth and culture while completing this process.

At times, what they fail to consider are the additional incentives and the value that comes along with working for a company who views their people as their greatest investment. To reward their teams' efforts, EnerSys offers the following for all our open technical sales representative positions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Consistently exceed your sales quota by retaining, growing, and prospecting clients within your account territory as well as national accounts.
  • Use product knowledge in conjunction with knowledge of customers' project objectives to develop unique value propositions supported by nancial impact analysis and feasibility studies.
  • Use Salesforce for customer relationship management activities.
  • Create, maintain, and enhance relationships with key personnel for product development and sales.
  • A drive for self-education and learning new products, services, and business processes.
  • Other activities include proposals, pricing, presentations, forecasting, program management, and other duties as required.
  • Identify the right customer stakeholders and build connections quickly to drive consensus for deals; works cooperatively with wide range of internal stakeholders for deal success.
  • Independently and collaboratively strategize for solving deal-level challenges.
  • All other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of sales experience or relatable industry experience
  • Bachelor's degree or significant industry experience

Driving Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record with minimal trac violations.
  • Must be 21 years of age to drive a company vehicle.
  • Able and willing to travel to customer sites.
  • Able and willing to do overnight travel up to 50% of the time.

Preferred Qualications:

  • Specific industry sales experience is a plus, especially a proven track record of success selling advanced battery chemistries.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish

General Job Requirements:

  • This position requires you to drive a company vehicle. Therefore, you must be able to pass the company's driving requirements.
  • Overnight travel required.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds/11.5 kilos on occasions.
  • Must be able to frequently bend; twist; reach; stoop; kneel or crouch.
  • Work with new and existing OES accounts (Freightliner, International, Volvo/Mack, PACCAR, and others) to build strong relationships and grow Odyssey sales.
  • On a regular basis, call on national retailers such as Auto Zone, Napa, O'reilly, and others.
  • Call on and work with Interstate dealers
  • Cal on heavy duty customers / fleets
  • Conduct and participate in Odyssey training sessions.
  • Log daily calls and manage leads in Salesforce.
  • Work and communicate with other territory sales representatives, district sales managers, and area managers.
General Job Requirements
  • This position requires you to drive a company vehicle. Therefore, you must be able to pass the company's driving requirements. Certain vehicles may also require a specific drivers license and have additional driving requirements.
  • Risk of electrical shock.
  • Must be able and willing to do overnight travel
  • Employees are responsible for wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment in the proper manner at all times.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds/11.5 kilos on occasions.
  • Must be able to frequently bend; twist; reach; stoop; kneel or crouch.
