Supervisor - Program Services

Summary:

Supervises staff and oversees daily operations for the Diabetes Prevention Program and Living Well with Diabetes Self-Management Program, including but not limited to referral management, patient intake, and class implementation. Acts as a liaison with all levels of staff across the Center for Health Improvement to facilitate the organization's mission, maximize outreach, and ensure smooth workflows, optimal productivity, as well as high quality and patient-centered services. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical records, supervisory experience, and strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in health care related field preferred. Relevant experience in related field will be considered in lieu of a degree.
2. License/Certifications: N/A
3. Experience: See "Education." A minimum of 3 years progressively responsible work experience preferably in a field relevant to the identified program is required. Supervisory experience strongly preferred. Basic knowledge of healthcare and social service systems, with previous experience in healthcare and/or social service field. Customer service skills and experience preferred.
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills required to interact effectively with all team members, clients from diverse backgrounds, and stakeholders. Communication includes written materials and correspondence.
5. Judgement and ability to resolve problems in an accurate and timely manner.
6. Knowledge of project management, and educational practices.
7. Strong software and computer skills, including Microsoft Office (including Power Point, Access, and Excel), database and website utilization and/or development.
8. Ability to work both independently and to collaborate with teams of individuals in diverse settings.
9. Analytical ability to gather and interpret data in situation where the problems are moderately complex.
10. Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail.
