Hybrid working schedule

The Supervisor - Call Center role is responsible for the direct supervision of staff within the Call Center. This role will work collaboratively with the Call Center Manager, the practice managers and team leaders to identify barriers to patient access and recommendations for workflow changes. In addition, the supervisor will be responsible for the coordination, orientation and training of the Call Center staff. This person will assist the Manager in policy development/updates and staff key responsibility areas (KRAs). The Call Center Supervisor will maintain a working knowledge of the department functions, aid in process improvements, assist in daily staffing issues and provide coverage when needed. This role will act as a staff resource for problems that arise with staff and will be involved in disciplinary action. The incumbent is required to conduct all job responsibilities consistent with Southern Maine Health Care policies, procedures, and in compliance with all applicable laws or mandates relating to patient care and business activities.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Associates Degree preferred.
  2. License/Certifications/A
  3. Experience: Three years of experience in a medical practice setting required. Two years of direct supervision experience required. Training experience preferred. Experience with eClinicalworks or Epic registration and scheduling preferred.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Medical terminology, strong computer and documentation skills.
