PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Under the direction of the Energy Manager, Product & Pricing is responsible for managing and implementing supply and pricing strategies for refined fuel, propane, fuel additives, DEF, and all other assigned energy products. This position is responsible for the products, supply, inventory, distribution, pricing, customer service, supplier programs, and inventory management for the assigned products. This includes supporting and assisting with all inventory and supply strategies and processes, supply availability/communications, product movement reporting, price analysis & strategy implementation, and technical support for all assigned products and locations to ultimately leading to superior customer experience, sales growth, and profitability for the Energy Division.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

In coordination with the Manager, Energy Product & Pricing, assist with coordinating, monitoring, analyzing and implementing terminal and customer supply allocation strategies and processes within the assigned application(s), for all energy inventory locations, while also collaborating with Energy Customer Care on customer reporting requirements and communications ensuring best practice, superior customer service and reliable and ratable supply for all GROWMARK customers.

Assisting in maintaining and auditing volumes and reconciliation of each assigned product. Primary resource and coordinator of all allocation functionality, uploads process and functionality, supply functionality, supply or setup related loading issues, as well as after-hours assistance in this regard.

Participates in Energy Supply and Operation Planning and Execution process.

Responsible for the products, supply, inventory, distribution, pricing, supplier programs and inventory management for all assigned energy products including to, but not limited to Refined fuels, DEF, additives, renewable fuel, and propane

Coordinate, monitor and distribute daily/weekly/monthly energy product movement, forecast and volume reports in a timely manner, while maintaining technology driven best practices for both collection and distribution to key stakeholders

Assist in monitoring terminal inventory levels, reconsignments, terminal outages/allocations and communicates accordingly to designated Energy personnel ensuring adequate supply to support all energy product sales to member and non-member customers.

Assist in developing and maintaining analytical information on key variables (terminal volumes, vendor sales, etc.) essential to maximizing margin opportunities. Maintains statistical/historical sales data by product, state, terminal, vendor, and customer for Energy Division personnel.

Maintains and distributes daily/weekly/monthly refined fuels competitive price and margin analysis, internal outage, and terminal temperature corrections.

Coordinates and collaborates in monitoring inventory levels and supply outages, and communicates accordingly to customers and designated Energy personnel.

Maintains a thorough working knowledge of all GROWMARK, Energy and third party supported software applications (SAP, Gravitate, Business Objects, DTN Tabs, DTN Fuel Buyer/Data Connect,myGMK, SWIFT, NuStar/Buckeye Portals, T-4, etc.) that lends to the most efficient set up, maintenance and overall company utilization.

Assists and supports in the communication with all members of the Energy Division in regard to supply situation and pricing strategies, as well as monitoring scheduled shipments, ensuring positive margins and budgeted volume growth for all assigned energy products

Analyzes, develops, and nominates monthly pipeline schedules for the Gulf Coast, Chicago, and Group Three markets based upon forward purchases and sales made by the Trading Team.

Ensures that all scheduling processes take place in a correct and timely manner.

Assist in collaboration with Energy Division staff to ensure after-hours assistance is available for customers and logistics during the busy season.

Collaborate and communicate appropriately with all members of the Energy Operation, Marketing and Logistics teams to ensure growth and superior customer service on all energy products.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Prepares special studies and reports as requested.

Required to handle multiple job functions by backing up key members of the Supplyand Pricing Team during times of absence to ensure constant business continuity.

Requires after-hours and weekend monitoring of supply, outages, pricing and logistical loading issues on a revolving basis to ensure just-in-time inventory and superior customer satisfaction.

Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires a college degree in a business-related field or equivalent, plus at least 1-3 years of related experience and demonstrated knowledge of the refined and renewable fuels industry.

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

Demonstrate planning, organizational, problem solving, analytical, evaluation, detail oriented and project management skills.

Proven professional communication, interpersonal, persuasion and customer service skills.

Ability to maintain complete confidentiality.

Proven team building skills and the ability to work independently and, in a team-oriented environment, and achieve success through others.

Proven computer skills including Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel), DTN Suite of products desired, or ability to learn, and the ability to learn Gravitate, and SAP applications and Business Objects reporting.

Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and have the ability to travel independently and overnight when necessary.

Ability to work hours beyond those considered normal.

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
