What You Will Do as a Design Intern:

The Design Intern will assist with specific projects within the Design functional area. There is a high focus on 3D capabilities in which recolorations for internal and external presentations are anticipated to be a major portion of the role. Intern must have 3D software 101 knowledge in recoloring, logo/artwork application, garment creation basics, materials, rendering/lighting. Strong attention to detail is required.

Additional projects would include:

• 3D recolorations and renderings - Browzwear VStitcher software.
• Trend research
• Assisting with trend boards and presentation prep work
• Assist in set/reset showroom - Dressing mannequins and grids as well as garment prep
• Assist in organizing Design Studio and maintain fabric/trim sample library as needed

Work with Design Department to assist with specific projects within the functional area (specific projects will be defined for each internship upon placement).

Skills for Success:

• Years of Related Professional Experience: 0 -1
• Currently in College pursuing a degree in functional area
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Illustrator)
• Basic to intermediate skills in 3D utilizing Browzwear VStitcher software
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with other management staff, employees,and thegeneral public
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Follows through with all tasks, assignments and job duties in a timely manner
• Good timemanagement and organizational skills
